Disillusioned by the impersonal assembly line of managed care, Darcy Vanderbie-Pace, PT was determined to provide more meaningful patient care. Working out of a one-room office in the Crossroads Gardens Building in 1994, she crafted her own type of business – patient focused, high quality rehab with adjunctive wellness services. Her commitment to this almost anachronistic concept proved successful both for Darcy and for her patients.
In 1996, Darcy married Trevor Pace, PT, and together, they grew their practice under the name of Pace Physical Therapy. During this same time period (since 1994) in Boulder, Chris West worked as a physical therapist and eventually owned Coreance Physical Therapy, Inc. Through his own allegiance to personalized patient care, Chris built up a loyal and growing patient base. Over the years, Chris got to know Darcy and Trevor, and their shared philosophy and mutual respect led to the merging of their businesses. In 2011, Pace West Physical Therapy was formed to bring together dedicated therapists working together to become one of the premier physical therapy clinics along the Front Range. Pace West PT remains true to Darcy's founding mission and philosophies and has been enhanced with the passion and expertise Chris and Trevor bring to the practice.
