A new approach to addressing whole body dysfunction, dynamic functional exercises encompass whole body movements, rather than isolating specific muscle groups. These functionally-based exercises:
- improve motor control
- strengthen neural pathways
- allow different areas of the body to work together to transform everyday movement patterns
The dynamic exercises allow us to perform the explosive or quick movements needed for athletics.
Clients do fewer exercises overall when they are prescribed a program of dynamic functional exercises. After assessing the specific movements that cause you pain, we will create a program specific to your needs. Once you have established improved movement patterns, you will not have to do these exercises as frequently.
